Fugu, Makanan Paling Bahaya Di Dunia

Fugu (ikan buntel) adalah salah satu ikan yang sangat beracun dan bahkan mematikan. Walaupun resikonya adalah mati, makanan dari fugu merupakan salah satu makanan yang spesial di Jepang. Bahkan telur ikan buntel dikenal sebagai makanan yang sangat berharga.

Ikan ini disebut ikan buntel (sebagian mengenalnya sebagai ikan kembung) karena kemampuannya untuk menggembungkan badannya. Huruf kanji untuk penulisan nama ikan ini, jika diterjemahkan secara harfiah berarti “babi sungai”. Di daerah Jepang Barat, fugu ini disebut fuku yang berarti “meniup” atau “kebahagiaan.” Disebutkan, ada sekitar 40 jenis ikan yang ditangkap dan diternakkan di Jepang. Sekitar 10.000 ton ikan ini di konsumsi tiap tahunnya. Shimonoseki, salah satu kota di perfecture Yamaguchi dikenal sebagai kota Fugu, merupakan suplier terbesar ikan ini.

Ada ungkapan kuno di Jepang yang mengatakan bahwa “Aku mau makan fugu, tapi aku nggak mau mati.” Racun yang ada di ikan ini sangat berbahaya, bahkan dapat menyebabkan kematian mendadak, sehingga hanya para koki yang berijin sajalah yang boleh mempersiapkan ikan ini. Untuk mendapat ijin, anda harus memiliki kemampuan dan pengetahuan tertentu mengenai fugu. Setiap jenis fugu memiliki bagian tubuh beracun yang berbeda, sehingga pengetahuan ini wajib dimiliki. Karena ketatnya peraturan, jumlah kematian dapat dikurangi dengan sangat jauh.

Makanan yang berasal dari daging ikan ini biasanya mahal sekali. Satu porsi makanan dapat berkisar antara US$100-200 (sekitar Rp1-2 juta). Dikatakan bahwa tora-fugu, fugu jenis ini yang paling enak rasa dagingnya. Ikan ini sangat mahal, dan bahkan harganya dapat mencapai Rp1 juta per ekor di pasar ikan. Sekarang ini ikan fugu yang siap makan sudah dapat ditemukan di beberapa supermarket bahkan tersedia juga online. Musim dingin adalah musim paling baik untuk menikmati ikan ini, karena kandungan lemaknya yang tinggi.

Berbagai makanan olahan ikan buntel:
– Fugu sashi: irisan tipis2 daging ikan fugu, disajikan dengan saus ponzu (campuran air jeruk nipis dan kecap asin)
– Fugu chiri: sayuran dan daging ikan fugu di rebus dalam kuah konbu dashi (kaldu ikan dan rumput laut) dalam wadah besar. Disajikan juga dengan saus ponzu.
– Fugu kara age: potongan daging ikan ini dibumbui, dibalut tepung dan digoreng
– Fugu hire zake: potongan sirip ikan fugu yang dipanggang dan direndam dalam sake panas.

Buah Hanya di Indonesia

Durian berdaging merah ini merupakan durian liar yang hanya ditemukan di hutan Kalimantan.
Sama halnya dengan durian lainnya, durian ini mempunyai kulit berduri dan aroma durian yang sangat khas dan menyengat.
Yang membuatnya berbeda adalah warna dari daging buahnya yang berwarna merah dan kebanyakan durian ini dikonsumsi oleh burung. Denger2 katanya lebih enak dari Durian biasa.
